EMDR Trauma Therapy

for Men

If You’re Ready to Heal, I’m Ready to Work.

I have been moving through the healing motions for years—both personally and professionally. I know what works and what doesn’t. As a first-generation Latino male, I’ve faced hard truths about identity, masculinity, and the emotional burdens we’re taught to carry in silence. I chose to confront them head-on, and now I help other men do the same.

Our survival strategies—anger, isolation, numbness, addiction, and overwhelm—may have once protected us, but they no longer serve the lives we want to build. Awareness is the key to breaking free from these patterns. By understanding and regulating our emotions, we create space for healthier relationships, inner stability, and a stronger sense of self.

I have dedicated my practice to serving men, particularly those who feel stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by unprocessed emotions. As an EMDR Certified Therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I specialize in helping men put anger to ease, awaken from numbness, and rise with clarity and confidence. Healing isn’t about becoming someone else—it’s about returning to who you truly are.

Let’s get to work.

Treatment Modalities

  • Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

Bi-lateral stimulation (eye movement) opens memory channels connected with past trauma and helps reduce the intensity and emotional charge presented unconsciously, making it difficult to move forward. EMDR helps the client process disturbing memories to ensure proper understanding and integration, for a better functioning and sense of self.

  • Brainspotting

“Where you look affects how you feel” Our field of vision is connected to parts of the brain that help process trauma and difficult experiences. BSP uses attention and focus to access associative channels that helps alleviate the intensity of memories, symptoms and behaviors.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Treatment focuses on challenging negative and automatic thoughts, cognitive distortions and irrational beliefs to improve overall functioning and mood. If you can change the way you think or interpret a situation, then you can experience adaptive moods and behaviors.

  • Somatic Experiencing

Somatic therapy focuses on the mind-body connection and how trauma and stress are stored in the body. This approach helps individuals become more aware of physical sensations, such as tension, tightness, or discomfort, that reflect unresolved emotions. By gently guiding clients to track bodily sensations, regulate their nervous system, and process trapped energy, Somatic Experiencing facilitates healing from the inside out. It uses techniques like grounding, breathwork, and subtle movements to release stored trauma, helping the body restore balance and promote emotional well-being. This process allows individuals to develop a deeper sense of self-awareness, resilience, and capacity to handle stress, leading to improved overall health.
